Parents are expected to choose between the two options given below:

OPTION 1:

Parents are to work a total of twenty (20) parent participation hours for the school year beginning on March 1st.  Four (4) of the hours are to be worked at the fair which is mandatory. The rest of the sixteen (16) hours are service hours to the school; which may include maintenance by working several workdays. Parents who chair booths for the fair, officers of the Home and School Association, Purple/Gold Club, School Board Members, or I other specific chairpersons of appointed projects or activities receive all twenty (20) required hours.

Hours will not be carried over to the next school year. All extra hours earned by parents will be placed in a drawing that will be selected at an appointed date and time each year. The prize for the extra hours will be a registration fee for one student. (One ticket for every extra four (4) hours of work will go into the drawing). ALL RECEIPTS ARE TO BE TURNED IN AT REGISTRATION. Any service hours performed after registration will go for the following school year. The charge for less than twenty (20) hours will be $20.00 per hour under the total of twenty. This fee is to be paid at registration.

OPTION 2:

A family may choose non-participation. A fee of $400.00 is to be paid for non participation at registration.
