Schools Week from January 28 - February
1. Parents are invited to
participate in various activities
throughout the week. Ascension
Catholic would like to thank you for
choosing a Catholic School Education for

Pre-school,
kindergarten and any interested new
families for grades 1-11 for the 2008-09
school year are invited to visit Ascension
Catholic School on Jan. 29. Please
meet in the high school gym at 9:30 a.m.
for a brief assembly followed by a tour of

ACHS Volleyball team will be recognizing
2007 Seniors at the home match on
Wednesday, October 17th at 6:00.
This is Homecoming week here at ACHS so we
as a Volleyball team would like to

The
Ascension Catholic High School Sunshine
Girls remain nationally ranked as they
finished third at the National Dance
Team Competition in Orlando, Florida.
The
Lady Bulldogs Basketball Team are
PLAYOFF BOUND! They clinched a
second place finish in our district with
a victory on Tuesday.
January
29-February 2 is National Catholic Schools
Week. There were many special
happenings at our school this week!
Financial Aid Night for
Parents of the Class of 2007--Wednesday,
January 31, 2007 at 6:00 PM in Lab B.
Ms. Jerri Mack,
Louisiana Office of Student Financial
Assistance representative, will present
information to clarify the financial aid
application process.
Bishop Muench will be visiting
Ascension Catholic on Wednesday, January
22, 2007. He will begin the day with
an all school mass and visit with the high
school religion classes for the remainder
of the day.
